SPREADHUNTERS operates as a non-exclusive tied credit intermediary;

SPREADHUNTERS does not grant credit, exercising its activity as a mere intermediary of tied credit under the terms provided by law, maintaining, for this purpose, binding contracts with the following lenders:

    • Caixa Geral de Depósitos;
    • Novo Banco

SPREADHUNTERS is authorized to provide the following services:

  • Presentation or proposal of credit agreements to consumers;
  • Assistance to consumers by performing preparatory acts or other pre-contractual management work on credit agreements that have not been presented or proposed by them.
  • Liability: the entity that guarantees the liability for the credit intermediation activity of SPREADHUNTERS is Hiscox Insurance Company Limited with policy number 2524755 Mortgage Credit valid until July 7, 2022;
  • There is no charge to consumers for the services provided by SPREADHUNTERS
  • SPREADHUNTERS is prohibited from receiving or delivering any amounts related to the formation, execution and early performance of credit agreements;
  • The activity of credit intermediation developed by SPREADHUNTERS is subject to supervision by the Bank of Portugal and the applicable legislation, in particular the legal framework that defines the requirements for access and exercise of the activity of credit intermediary and the provision of advisory services on credit agreements established in Decree-Law No 81-C/2017 of 7 July.

2. INTRODUCTION

These Terms and Conditions of Use (hereinafter referred to as “Terms and Conditions”) govern your access to and use of the SPREADHUNTERS website and simulator (hereinafter referred to as “Websites”) as well as the conditions of the credit intermediation services disclosed and made available on these websites.

The Terms and Conditions set out the rights and obligations of the user and SPREADHUNTERS with regard to the use of the Websites and the credit intermediation services provided by and through them.

Browsing the Websites, as well as using the credit intermediation services made available on the Websites, implies your acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

3. USE OF WEBSITES

The User undertakes to use the Websites of SPREADHUNTERS in compliance with the law, refraining from any activity that violates the law, morals, good customs or rights of others.

By using the services provided through the Websites, the User declares that he is over eighteen (18) years of age and has the legal capacity to enter into contracts.

The User undertakes to comply with and respect the Terms and Conditions, namely:

  • To refrain from introducing, storing or disseminating through the Websites defamatory, obscene, insulting, xenophobic and/or any other content that violates the right to privacy or the intellectual property of third parties, as well as the provision of any information that may be harmful to third parties or to the owner of the Websites;
  • Not to use false identities;
  • To provide their personal data and possibly those of third parties, accurate and updated so that SPREADHUNTERS can provide the services requested;
  • To save and not disclose, your password to enter the customer area in order to prevent others from accessing your account.

SPREADHUNTERS disclaims any liability for any delay or inability to provide the requested service, due to error or inadequacy of the data provided by the user.

4. SERVICES

Description of SPREADHUNTERS’ credit intermediation services:

  • To inform the user of the characteristics of the financial products offered by third parties so that they can make an appropriate decision at the time of contracting;
  • Offer personalized information after analyzing and selecting the financial products that best fit the user’s profile, according to the characteristics and needs that the user has entered in the SPREADHUNTERS simulator and that can be expanded and negotiated by telephone or any other form of remote communication;
